I am your area coordinator for NorthWest Student Exchange. The upcoming school year is approaching quickly and we still have 40 students in need of homes in and around the Grand Rapids area! The length of hosting varies, so even if this opportunity sounds slightly intriguing please feel free to contact me and we can go over details. Providing a home for a foreign student is a wonderful charity to them and also gives you the chance to expand your cultural horizons. You are not expected to be at home all the time to entertain the student because they will be busy themselves. The students have all their own spending money and so as long as you can provide a place for them to sleep and 2-3 meals a day, you could become a host family.
