Each week the Volunteer Center will highlight an exciting skill-based volunteer (SBV) opportunity found on our Volunteer Solutions website. This week's SBV opportunity comes from GRACE:

 

CPP Partnership Team Leader Needed

If you are an experienced team leader who would like to apply those skills in a new situation to help a neighbor in our community, this week's SBV is calling for you. As part of their Congregational Partnership Program, GRACE is seeking  individuals to lead a supportive team that is committed to walking with a family household experiencing a housing crisis. 

Sample Activities:

  • Build team
  • Secure $3500 contribution for CPP Fund (lease assistance)
  • Meet with Housing Resource Specialist and program participant to determine needs
  • Establish relationship
  • Introduce and engage team members

Qualifications:

  • Effective communicator
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Likable and approachable
