We know that The Rapidian thrives on the wonderful volunteers we have, and now there's another way to volunteer. The first Rapidian Street Team is officially in the works. A street team is a group of volunteers that want to promote or advocate for a business, cause, band or nonprofit. This is a great way for our readers and supporters to get involved outside of writing articles or adding photos.

Anyone is free to join, and the level of commitment is a small amount of time that can have a really big impact on how many people The Rapidian can reach. We always make sure to point out that we thrive on the wonderful volunteers we have and now there's another way to volunteer. Spend a few hours out on the town every couple of months and tell people about The Rapidian.

What it means to be a Rapidian Street Teamer:

  • Commit to represent The Rapidian at a handful of local events during the next six months
  • Attend a training that will provide you the tools and knowledge to be the best street teamer
  • Wear a Rapidian t-shirt, grab a handful of informational flyers and hit the streets
  • You determine what events that you want to represent The Rapidian
  • You choose convenient days and times that work with your personal schedule
