It's that time again. It's time to start searching for the latest and greatest interns to join The Rapidian team. As always, these internships are open to everyone, not just college students. We've switched up the internships being offered for the fall, so take a look and see if there are any that pique your interest.
In addition to writing articles, we offer weekly micro-trainings to help build a wide variety of skills for you to use after your internship is over.
ArtPrize Reporting Interns (2-3 positions available)
The Rapidian is seeking interns for a unique internship that focuses primarily on ArtPrize coverage. During ArtPrize, these interns will need to be able to work in a very fast paced environment to cover everything surrounding ArtPrize. Afterwards, these interns will shift their focus to the general art scene in Grand Rapids. Applicants with a keen interest in exposing the community to local art events and those working within the art culture, educating the community about art and creating conversations around local events and offerings are encouraged to apply. Learn more about the specifics here.
Innovation Community Reporting Intern (1 position available)
The Rapidian is seeking an innovation community reporting intern that will build relationships with local innovation and entrepreneurial hubs to build up our Innovation Spotlight section. Applicants with a keen interest in finding out not only what is happening now but learning about the history of innovation in the area and who was behind the story are encouraged to apply.
