On Tuesday April 1, at 5:45 p.m. the ACLU of Michigan will present "Ending the War on Drugs" with special guest Dr. Carl Hart. 

Dr. Hart has 22 years of research into drug policy and will share his perspective based on his findings and involvement. Hart is an associate professor in psychology and psychiatry at Columbia University. He is also a research scientist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Dr. Hart is a member of the National Advisory Council on Drug Abuse. He is the author of the book "High Price: A Neuroscientist's Journey of Self-Discovery That Challenges Everything You know About Drugs and Society." 

This event is made possible by Spectrum Hospital, Grand Rapids Community Foundation African American Heritage Fund and Well House, in partnership with the Red Project and Grand Rapids Community College Black Student Union (GRCC BSU)

This event is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available.
