Eastown resident to host annual arts and crafts open house

Sierra Cole, a fiber artists that creates wool hats and handbags as well as mixed media wall sculptures, is opening her doors to the community for the 11th year in a row. The show includes a dozen other local artists' work.

On December 20 and 21 Sierra Cole will open her Eastown home up to holiday shoppers for her final open house of the holiday season.

Cole is a fiber artist that works with wool to create hats and handbags and has recently collaborated with local artist Tom Duimstra to create mixed media wall sculptures.

Participating artists include:

Items for sale include, scarves, gift tags, clipboards, ornaments, recycled journals, candles, sterling silver jewelry, felted handbags and hats, soap, cards, pottery, felted jewelry, watercolor paintings, sugar scrubs, carved exotic wood bowls, wreaths and winter containers, aprons and wire artwork.
