On Monday, May 12 from 6-8:30 p.m. Gaia Cafe in East Hills will host the fourth annual Women of East Hills dinner. The neighborhood event is sponsored by both Gaia and the East Hills Council of Neighbors.
A special menu will be prepared for guests attending. The event is free and open to the public, however a $15 donation is suggested.
This year Women of East Hills will honor five East Hill neighbors. The lineup includes Johannah Jelks, Claire Fisher, Shirley Montey, Egan Farrar and Ginger Hensley.
Gaia Cafe is an East Hills restaurant that has been serving up vegetarian favorites for over 30 years.
The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.
