Thanks again to Color Incorporated Digital Prolab for sponsoring the Picturesque gallery!
This spring's Picturesque gallery was open for submissions during the entire month of April, asking people to share Signs of Spring. We left it wide open and the responses made it clear what "Spring" looks like to the people of Grand Rapids. After all the snow finally melts, we can't help but soak in the colorful flowers blooming all around us. In total, there were 43 photos of flowers, compared to just 20 photos with people in them.
All together, there were 108 photos submitted to the gallery this time around- which is a record for all of our Picturesque galleries by quite a lot.
This time, we even sweetened the deal: add a photo, get the most likes, comments, tweets, and shares and you'll walk away with Rapidian swag.
Thanks to everyone who added a photo or two, and for making this Picturesque Gallery break the record. There were a lot of great photos added over the last month. There was, however, a stand-out winner when all was said and done, based on the community's interaction. And a special thanks to Color Inc for their continued sponsorship of this great way for us all to share our moments in Picturesque!
And the winner is...
Lynell Shooks for her photo "what up, bud." Shooks will receive a Rapidian Swag Bag full of Rapidian goodness for her involvement with this Picturesque gallery. Congratulations!
Keep an eye out for the next Picturesque gallery and be sure to get involved.
