Only four more chances to catch Blues on the Mall

As August approaches, Blues on the Mall wraps up their 2012 performance schedule.

For the 21st consecutive year, WLAV, Gun Lake Casino and Budweiser are sponsoring a summer long concert series. Starting on June 13, various blues musicians have performed at Rosa Parks Circle. Now, there are only four more performances of the 2012 lineup to see, including tonight's performance by Mississippi Heat.

Homemade JamzBig James and the Chicago Playboys, Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials, Trampled Under Foot and Samantha Fish have performed thus far.

All shows start around 6:30 p.m. with no assigned seating. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring their own lawn chairs. All shows are free and open to the public.
