GRPS Students Making Cards for Valentines for Veterans

GRPS students will take part in “Valentines for Veterans” on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Students from three classrooms will create Valentine’s Day cards with assistance from Grand Valley State University students, who are leading the project. The cards will be delivered to both local veterans and overseas troops. The GVSU students gathered donations of art supplies to make the cards, and they will donate any remaining supplies to the classrooms as a thank you for volunteering.
