***UPDATE*** due to a last minute scheduling conflict, this month's episode of City Connection has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 21 at 5 p.m. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

At 5pm Monday night, City Connection, Mayor Heartwell's live interactive public access show was simulcast right here on The Rapidian. The program, now in its 19th year, is co-hosted by Grand Rapids mayor George Heartwell and GRCMC's Linda Gellasch, and is an opportunity for Grand Rapidians to talk with our mayor about important city issues.

Got any questions for Mayor Heartwell? City Connection airs every first Monday of the month. Citizens can interact by leaving questions on The Rapidian articles, emailing [email protected], tweeting @GRTVaccess,  or leaving a Facebook comment. Tune in each month, first Monday of the month at 5 p.m., to hear him respond to you live on GRTV’s Livewire (channel 24 on Comcast) and streaming on The Rapidian.

I have a question! Snow from the Bridge Street area was plowed by the city into the parking lot of Lincoln Park at Garfield and Jackson. Now the snow is melting, and trash is spreading all over Lincoln Park and the surrounding neighborhood. Will the city be picking up all the trash, cigarette butts, etc? Or will it be left as litter? Thanks! Fred Quillin

Could you give us your insight as a Mayor into the recent implementation of the Emergency Financial Manager bill in Benton Harbor?
