UICA's biggest fundraiser of the year offers guests the unique opportunity to purchase artwork that is created right before their eyes! Come to the Steelcase Town Hall for an unforgettable evening that includes live and silent auctions, music and an array of fine food and drinks. This event is made possible by local artists who donate their time and talent to help UICA. Below are two featured artists that will be working live this year, Brett Colley and Margie Erlandson. Don't miss this chance to see the artists' process first hand!
Live Coverage Artist: Brett Colley
Brett Colley is an Associate Professor of Art & Design at Grand Valley State University, where he teaches drawing, printmaking, and seminar courses. Live Coverage Artist: Margie Erlandson
Margie Erlandson earned her BA from Indiana University in painting and drawing and her MFA from Central Michigan University in Fiber. Her works are conceptual and often deconstructive, connecting myths, nature and spirituality through the collaging of prints, fibers and found objects.
