Where do graphic designers get jobs in this town? I know a young… cool… about to graduate designer who is going to leave GR and go somewhere else unless someone offers her a gig. And fankly, I simply don’t want her to go. SO. Help me out, throw a bone, anybody know of openings? She graduates in the spring. (PS punked out attire included)
There are SO many sweet people born in March. Seriously. Just this weekend our very own George W. is celebrating along with Nick Stockton from Teamwork bags. Have some happy B-day’s boys!
So a bit of a disclaimer: WOTS is a hobby, not a profession. I don’t have a proof reader (and my spelling skills are meager at best!) I am not paid and I don’t ALWAYS get everything right. If you REALLY want to go to an even that I mention it is a GREAT idea to check out the organization or performer or artists website and get the details as, alas, sometimes nuance is lost on me. Think of Word on the Street like a large game of telephone… Sometimes I get most of the meaning right, and occasionally some of the details are a bit off. I rarely apologize.
If you are on facebook you can join the Word on the Street group. Currently we are sending word out as an “event” and a message on facebook so feel free to share….. you can also post feedback there or of course send me an email at… [email protected] . OR if you want to check out the Blog got to http://www.g-rad.org/projects/wordonthestreet/
