Summary: Would you like to enhance your relationship with family members, friends and colleagues? Can you think of any situations when you purposely wanted to reduce the level of distress in a relationship?Understanding your gift of empathy can help you answer these questions in a positive way. Using your gift of empathy helps:
* build trust and respect in relationships
* enables you to release emotions in a safe way
* encourages the surfacing of information necessary needed for a healthy relationship
* creates a safe environment that is conducive to collaborate relationships
Workshop Topics:
1. What is empathy?
2. What is the difference between empathy and sympathy?
3. Growth in the awareness of when your gift of empathy is operative.
4. Skills and discipline necessary to practice the gift of empathy.
Participants will be active in a process of understanding and practicing the use of the gift of empathy.

Summary: The Enneagram of Personality Workshop assists us in increasing self-knowledge by leading to discovery and understanding of core motivational stance. It is this motivational stance that helps us understand why we do what we do in response to personal life experiences. It also helps us realize why and in what way others, in the same situations, see and respond so differently.
Workshop Topics:
♦ An introduction to nine primary motivational stances;
♦ Key facets or clues for recognizing your own primary; motivational stance, e.g., the focus of attention, the avoidance, and the strengths and weaknesses of each stance;
♦ The thought, feeling, and behavior patterns that are generally typical for each stance;
♦ Practices that assist your development in each stance
The workshop dynamic includes content presentations, interactive processes and some personal reflective exercises.
