The purpose of the Press Club at the Cook Arts Center is to provide youth in the Grandville Avenue neighborhood with the opportunity to find, develop and share their creative voices. Millie M. is a member of the GAAH Press Club, and below is the autobiography she wrote from a third-person perspective.

Millie M. is a student at Cesar E. Chavez that won first place in a spelling bee.  Millie recently became a member of the GAAH Press Club.  She also speaks two different languages (Spanish and English).  Millie is one of the most active persons I know.  She loves to swim.  Millie is also funky and cool.  She loves to pick out her clothes.  But one person she admires is her mom, Maria M.

The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.

We need your help.
