Branch Out Productions and GR-Media Initiative/Film Incubator are hosting a 3-day workshop challenge for 5 writers, who will be coached in how to use AI (Artificial Intelligence) to produce a full screenplay in 3 days. July 23 at 6 pm the public can see the results and participate in a groupwrite.

July 21-23   3-Day AI Screenwriting Workshop enabling participants to craft a compelling full-length screenplay using Artificial Intelligence

July 23  6-8:30 pm  AI Interactive Writing Exhibition demonstrating AI's accelerated writing process through a groupwrite experience and observing the results of the Workshop.

Blossom Mentorship Program, in association with Branch Out Productions, Grand Rapids Media Initiative & Film Incubator (GR-MiFi), and Mosaic Film Experience, is thrilled to launch a transformative AI Interactive Writing 3-Day Screenwriting Workshop and Exhibition. These twin events represent a new era of storytelling, integrating AI technology to shape the future of filmmaking.

Lisa Mathis, founder of the project, along with Matt Allen and Krista Suh, esteemed writers of hit films Four Christmases and Block Party, will mentor five local aspiring writers, demonstrating the transformative potential of AI technology in accelerating the writing process. "The goal is to revolutionize filmmaking and democratize the process by equipping the new generation of creatives with the tools they need," states Mathis. "Through these events, we are demystifying the filmmaking process and inspiring the participants to embrace this new dawn of AI storytelling."

The groundbreaking 3-Day AI Screenwriting Workshop will provide an immersive experience from July 21-23. The workshop aims to enable participants to craft a compelling screenplay, combining their creative vision with AI technology. Participants will gain a unique, in-depth insight into Hollywood's entertainment process.

On Sunday evening, the public is warmly invited to immerse themselves in the innovative blend of AI technology and storytelling at the AI Interactive Writing Exhibition. During this unique event taking place on July 23, Mathis, Suh, and Allen, along with the 5 workshop writers, will demonstrate AI's accelerated writing process. Harnessing the power of audience suggestions, these seasoned writers will craft an original short story within minutes--directly inspired by audience suggestions. This exciting demonstration of future storytelling unfolds at GR-MiFi, 1110 Wealthy St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
