The first plans for a Grand Rapids City Hall were put forward in 1854. How long before settling on a suitable and economical plan? This episode of "Glance at the Past" tells the story.



"Glance at the Past" is a local history radio project presented by Grand Rapids Historical Commission and the Grand Rapids Community Media Center. It's written and voiced by award-winning local historian Diana Barrett.
