Economic conditions are desperate for many members of our Grand Rapids community. The American Legion Post 459 realizes our responsibility to reach out to help veterans, children and youth and non-veteran community members in need. Friday May 28 at 6:00 pm, Friday June 25 at 6:00 pm and Friday July 23 at 6:00 pm our Post will host a food truck in our parking lot at 658 Michigan St NE to serve anyone in need. If you come, please remember to bring your own bags and/or boxes for transporting your food. We need volunteers to assist in the set-up and serving persons in line. Volunteers need to be present at 5:00 pm.
