That was a hard title to type, especially in light of a blizzard on the horizon, descending upon us at dusk today.
"Snowpocalypse" and "snowmageddon" have been bandied around, so this reminder of what we love about West Michigan winters couldn't be more timely. According to Picturesque:
- Being indoors
- Good eats
- The details
- So much fun to be had
- Winter can be nature's beautician
- Jump in! The water's nice!
- The promise of warmer seasons
This edition of Picturesque has ended, but head over to the gallery to see even more images in this community photo album. And on the flip/west side, the WinterWest festivities at Richmond Park (1101 Richmond Park) run through mid-February. Hot toddies, hot chocolate, cardboard sled competitions... Are you planning anything fun to get through the blizzard?

Pretty sure that the FoGRP are not promoting public alcohol use on municipal property.
Maybe they're virgin? It's listed on both their Rapidian article and the Facebook fan page.
