The Cottage Bar has one of the best burgers in town and possibly the state.

The Cottage Bar has been serving the best burgers in town since 1927, making them the oldest restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids.

Recently voted the "Best Burger in Michigan" by USA Today, the restaurant also boasts three alarming chilis, Mexican fare, seafood and a long list of extras.

Happy hour is held Monday through Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. and all draft beers are $2.50 and Microbrews are $3. And PBR is always only $2.25 for a 16 ounces.

The ArtPrize you'll see

Tthe Cottage Bar will be hosting five pieces by six different artists during this year's ArtPrize. All but one are from Michigan. Click here to check out their profiles.

Of note to check out: Thomas Leach and Michelle Reetz's 4-by-15-foot painting, "November Morning in Northern Michigan." Sure to be a spectacular addition this down to earth restaurant, Cottage Bar is a perfect spot to settle down in the craziness of ArtPrize.

Make sure to check out the ArtPrize Street Party on September 26 from 3 to 6 p.m.
