Special Events Committee Meetings

If you are interested in taking part in these events, or stopping by to see what it’s like, we meet every other month, on the first Tuesday of that month. The next meeting is taking place on Tuesday, April 4th from 6:30-7:30pm. Please RSVP to [email protected] to be added to the events email chain.

The East Hills Events Committee, in collaboration with many local businesses, hosts more than 20 special events, concerts, and meet ups throughout the year and we are looking to expand our schedule to include more programming than ever before. In order for this dream to become a reality, we need new volunteers and committee members to take an active role in planning and executing these events. With your help, we can host a whole new range of programs including outdoor fitness and Zumba activities, DIY home repair workshops, Grand Rapids Public Library and Museum features in the park and public safety training!

We are currently making our way through our Winter meet up series, that meets on the Third Thursday of each month. Our next meet up will be at Squibb Coffee on Thursday, March 16th from 6-9pm and there will be a special discount for any community members who come to this gathering. The next meet up after that will be at Brewery Vivant on April 20th at the same time.
