Dr. Sketchy's (Photo Story)

Underwriting support from:

On the last Saturday of every month, The Vivacious Miss Audacious (Audria Larsen), invites art monkeys, as she calls them, to join her at the The Sazerac Lounge for Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School. It's like a normal life drawing class but with talking, drinking, local celebrities, lots of prizes and pretty much no rules.

Past models have included a very charismatic drag queen, the Grand Riggity Roller Girls, and many performers from the Super Happy Funtime Burlesque Troupe, the most recent being Good Little the Kid, Daniel Falicki.

It was previously held at The Meanwhile Bar in the outdoor beer garden, but cold weather has contributed towards the move to The Sazerac. It is now followed by a great Shimmy Shack Burlesque show, which is free to anyone who paid their $10 for Dr. Sketchy's.

Come have a drink and bring a paintbrush, pencil, camera, or whatever your medium may be. Have a great time, win tickets to shows, drinks, custom hula hoops, posters, t-shirts, and more.

*Note: Many of the photos were taken at the previous, fair weather location, The Meanwhile Bar's beer garden. There is a new location, but the fun hasn't changed.

6pm-9pm, $10, Shimmy Shack Burlesque @ 10pm-1am. Last Saturday of every month.
