INTERVIEW

The West MI Cluster of the Stewardship Network is a group of more than two dozen organizations taking a regional approach to protecting the area’s natural resources. With a diverse constituency that includes environmental groups, municipalities, land resource agencies and private land owners, the Stewardship Network works with a shared responsibility for the natural resources.

In the Catalyst Radio studio today to talk about the work of the West MI Cluster of the Stewardship Network and about upcoming educational opportunities are Jessie Schulte and Becky Huttenga, representatives of two of the organizations that make up the land stewardship cluster.  Much of the educational efforts focus on identifying and removing invasive plant species that affect the West Michigan landscape, and the Stewardship Cluster offers a number of resources on the subject.
