INTERVIEW

In this episode of Catalyst Radio we highlight the Youth Summer Jobs Program of Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Katelyn Sandor and Roberta King of GRCF explain the program that matches more than 250 youth with 12 local nonprofits for employment and job training experience for the summer.

Sandor, Public Relations and Marketing intern, talks about the training and job skills the 14-24-year-olds are gaining while taking part in what is the second year of the program. King, vice president of PR and Marketing, explains the benefits the nonprofit employers garner in agreeing to take on the youth as a part of the organizations' staffs for the summer.
