Host Cindy Kamp welcomes Wendy Wigger, President for Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids and Gilda’s LaughFest. Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is a nonprofit dedicated to providing emotional healthcare to children and adults living with disease (cancer), disability and death. Gilda’s LaughFest is a 10-day festival celebrating laughter for the health of it designed to engage the community in emotional healthcare, increase visibility of Gilda’s Club and generate funding for the Club’s free program.
The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.
