So much of our life is in progress. We grow gardens, build houses and high rises, make breakfast and create all kinds of finished products, from artwork to backyard forts for our kids. We even take nine months to grow those kids.
Right now in Grand Rapids, with ArtPrize artists beginning to install their pieces and road construction and development overtaking downtown, it’s a time of transition in Grand Rapids. Everything seems to be in progress.
Let's capture those moments and share them in The Rapidian's new Picturesque gallery "In Progress."
The process is simple: Log in with your Rapidian account (or register for one if you haven't yet), go to the In Progress gallery, and click "Submit Your Own." Then it's just a matter of adding a title for your photo (and a description if you'd like to add more to the story) and uploading a photo. Easy!
Need more ideas? How about capturing a moment where we find:
- someone making dinner
- two people about to high five
- action shots, whether sports or otherwise
- even something as simple as a conversation.
So much around us is in progress every day. Keep an eye out for those moments and share them with your community in our gallery!
Each day, we will select a photo from the gallery to be featured on our front page as the Photo of the Day.
Add your submissions to the gallery here and you'll not only have a chance to have your photo featured on our front page, but you'll be in the running to win our Picturesque competition. Determined by public votes (Facebook shares, tweets and comments here on the photos all count as a vote), the winner will receive a Rapidian swag bag, full of great ways to show your Rapidian love.
The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.
We need your help.
If each of our readers and content creators who values this community platform help support its creation and maintenance, The Rapidian can continue to educate and facilitate a conversation around issues for years to come.
Please support The Rapidian and make a contribution today.
