Brunch House exceeded expectations with giant cinnamon rolls and a Beach Side Smashburger, alongside creative cocktails and show-stopping Bloody Marys. Hip vibe, great service!

When you hear about a themed restaurant, it’s either going to be really bad or really good. I’m happy to report that Brunch House is the latter, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well this concept turned out. Brunch House brought all the good brunch stuff!

We were greeted by a friendly and prompt host who quickly got us to our table. Our server was attentive to our needs and swiftly took our drink order as soon as we were seated. We ordered a couple of espresso martinis, a breakfast-style margarita, and a variation of an old-fashioned. I was elated to see that the execution of our drinks was on par with any top cocktail bar.

We started our meal with the giant cinnamon roll, which was probably one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. It was hot, moist and drizzled with just the right amount of cream cheese frosting. The sweetness, the spice of the cinnamon and the buttery richness of the bun melted together as if it were all meant to be. For the second course, we ordered the biscuits and gravy for the table. The biscuits were fresh and house-made, topped with black pepper, sausage gravy and two eggs cooked to your preference. The benedict was well-prepared and traditional in its execution. The farmer’s scramble was done well, with the scrambled eggs being fluffy and not too dense. We also ordered the Beach Side Smashburger, which featured two crispy fried burger patties and a hot bun, topped with Sriracha goat cheese that paired well with the pineapple and bacon.

We concluded our meal with some bloody marys after noticing the bartender creating enormous concoctions with bites of crispy chicken, crunchy bacon, soft and supple deviled eggs and sweet Belgian waffles emerging from the Tajín- and salt-coated rims of the glasses like levitating skewers of decadent goodness. One of us ordered the Bloody Mary with chicken and waffles, while the other two of us opted for the Bloody Mary with deviled eggs and bacon. The presentation was amazing—almost as good as they tasted. This is a do not miss on your next visit if you can. They are served with or without alcohol.

My overall experience at Brunch House was fantastic. The ambiance was hip and had a cool vibe. Everyone working there was extremely friendly, and the service was spot on. The food was not only presented well but also had great flavor and inventiveness to keep it fresh and new. The cocktail, mocktail and beverage program was great, with a variety of drink options for everyone. I know we’ll be coming back with bells on!
