Grand Rapids beer lovers take note: On Thursday, Dec. 1, the Applebee’s in Walker is hosting a Right Brain Brewery tap takeover. But they’re doing more than pulling tap handles: 20 percent of all food and drink sales will be donated to Feeding America West Michigan.
Five of Right Brain’s beers will be on tap: CEO Stout, Northern Hawk Owl, Cakewalk, Concrete Dinosaur, and Naughty Girl Stout, a seasonal ale boasting notes of chocolate and mint.
The tap takeover is the latest in Feeding America West Michigan’s Hops Against Hunger series, which unites local breweries and restaurants with big-hearted beer geeks dedicated to making a difference in their community. Past participants include Grand Rapids Brewing Company, HopCat and Terra GR.
