Artists recieve 25% off thier tab for the evening.

On Monday nights from 6 - 11 p.m., artists gather at Grand Rapids Brewing Company in a private room to create art in a variety of mediums- and drink craft beer.

"Our goal is to provide a space for like minded individuals to come together and collaborate through their creative abilities," says Andrew Castagne, organizer of the weekly "Studio Night."

On Studio Night, local band M.O.T.H (Matt Finch and guests) plays background music while artists of different genres work. Artists in attendence include a wide range of creative pursuits, including graphic design, writing, painting and ceramics.

Castagne would like to have rotating performances and features in the future, including poetry reading, a model, guest speakers and demo nights to learn new skills.

Participating artists receive 25% off their tab for the evening. The event is free and open to the public.

GRBC is located at 1 Ionia Avenue, Suite 1 in downtown Grand Rapids.
