In this week’s segment of GRTV’s NPO Showcase Lindsay Wieland Capel from Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services discusses their large variety of mental health and family services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Their facilities are located all across Michigan and in Iowa. For those experiencing a mental health emergency, Pine Rest offers a 24/7 hotline at 800.674.5500. Pine Rest will help set up counseling, testing, and treatment plans for those seeking assistance.
Pine Rest has dozens of clinicians available to cover an extensive range of mental and behavioral health concerns. They also offer collections of resources for individuals hoping to learn more about their possible conditions prior to, or during treatment. For community members hoping to get more involved and learn more about mental health fields and careers, Pine Rest is involved with training, internships, employment, and professional education at their facilities and their partners across their service umbrella. The Pine Rest Foundaton is another way community members can get involved, whether by attending one of the foundation's events, giving directly, being a mental health advocate or visiting the Rustic Market Thrift Store.
Check back next Wednesday for a new segment of GRTV’s NPO Showcase, featuring Access of West Michigan.
