The Grand Rapids Film Festival will be hosting a special event in order to honor and support the Special Olympics organization.

The Grand Rapids Film Festival (GRFF) is excited and honored to be partnering with the Special Olympics this year, to create a dinner/ movie screening event that will bring awareness to such important organization as well as to individuals living with a disability.
The GRFF Special Olympics event will take place on Saturday April 12, from 7-9 p.m. on the third floor of McFadden’s, a downtown Grand Rapids venue. The event will be hosted by Juliet Dragos, a weeknight anchor at WZZM TV 13 news, who has volunteered with Special Olympics of Michigan previously.
In addition to dinner and drinks during the event, Peter Hawley’s 2004 documentary short “What’s Two + Three?” will be screened, which is a film that follows one family’s journey with their developmentally disabled child.
Portions of the $10 ticket for the event will be donated to the Special Olympics organization. Come and be a part of this special evening support an inspiring organization and documentary.
