DisArt Stories Matter: Robert Andy Coombs says inclusive clothing designs can bring people together

Robert Andy Coombs, DisArt Fashion Lead, says he's learned so much by being able to be surrounded by so many other artists that celebrate that they're disabled.

We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV. This story was captured at the Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD)'s Woodbridge Ferris Building for a DisArt Festival event.

Robert Andy Coombs, DisArt Fashion Lead, says he's learned so much by being able to be surrounded by so many other artists that celebrate that they're disabled. He says he wants to change what it means to be Disabled so others can also wear their disability "like a badge of honor."
