The Press Club now has two levels for our young journalists. Students start out as cub reporters, and work toward full reporter status in the Andy Angelo Press Club. Cub reporters who have published 10 stories on The Rapidian are then graduated to the Andy Angelo Press Club. The below article was written by our cub reporters.

On March 16, the Cub Press Club visited LaughFest’s Kids Zone at the GRCC Ford Feildhouse. There were tons of blow-up bounce houses. My favorite one was a dragon. You take a journey through the moat and stomach and exit at the tail. LaughFest was sponsored by Gilda’s Club.

On Saturday, March 16, the Press Club visited the LaughFest Super Saturday Kids Zone at GRCC Field House. The Press Club went to have some fun and to raise money for Gilda’s Club. Gilda’s club is a free cancer support community. The press club went on the bounce house, slides, made candy necklaces and they played Dance Dance Revolution. The Press Club got prizes and food.

On Saturday, March 16, the Press Club visited LaughFest Super Saturday Kids Zone at GRCC. The people that were in charge of the equipment wore blue shirts. The fun things were the tall slide, bounce houses, sugar necklaces, Dance Dance Revolution, prizes, and food. The Kids Day Zone was to raise Money for Gilda’s Club. Gilda’s Club is a free cancer grief and support program. We were having so much fun I didn’t want to leave.

On Saturday, March 16, Press Club visited LaughFest Super Saturday Kids Zone at GRCC. It was fun at the Kids Zone and I went on the bounce house. I got out and I went to go and get Dominic.
“Lets go and make some sugar necklaces,” I said to Dominic. There was a spinning wheel and if it picked a notebook, you won the notebook. I like the bounce house.

On Saturday, March 16, the press club went to LaughFest Super Kids Zone at GRCC. We went to have fun and raise money for Gilda’s Club, and organization that raises money for people who have cancer. We went on a bounce house and Bounce Slides. We ate hot dogs and apples. We were there for a little bit, but it felt like all day because we were having so much fun. It was so cool!

We went to the LaughFest Super Saturday Kids Zone. It was fun, exciting, and tiring. First we went on the jumpy slide ten times, then we went on the dragon that poops out kids four times. Next we went on the pirate ship and jumped. After the pirate ship we played Dance Dance Revolution. We ate hotdogs, chips, and water.
