Con Artist Crew, Spectrum Health Rehab team up for Artprize
Con Artist Crew leaders Magdalene Law, Reuben Garcia and Chelsea Van Tongeren worked with patients at Spectrum Health's continuing care facility to create pieces for an entry into this year's ArtPrize competition. The art will be showcased at the downtown Ledyard building.
About Con Artist Crew and Causing Artistic Creation
Con Artist Crew is headed by Kendall graduates Magdalene Law and Reuben Garcia. The company just had their Grand Opening on May 12 and is already having an impact on the art community of Grand Rapids. Their space, located at 1111 Godfrey SW, includes an area for artists to have their own studio, a large collaborative environment and a gallery to showcase their work.
