C-SNIP's mission is to significantly reduce the over-population of dogs and cats in West Michigan by providing reduced cost, high quality spay and neuter services and by supporting all efforts that promote humane population control. Aside from offering reduced cost spaying and neutering at the highest quality, C-SNIP is West Michigan's only non-profit spay and neuter clinic.
The veterinarian staff at C-SNIP are specialists to the spay and neuter field and have preformed over 65,000 spay/ neuter surgeries since C-SNIP began in 2001. Along with the sterling reputation of the veterinary staff, the entire staff at C-SNIP upholds the slogan "The First Class Fix," through the passion and professionalism in all aspects of service.
C-SNIP located in Kentwood, Michigan, however many lakeshore rescues and transport services help the organization further its mission to a larger portion of West Michigan. C-SNIP has never turned a client away due to financial reasons and paid for over $50,000 of client surgeries in 2009 alone.
Although spaying and neutering is the mission and purpose of C-SNIP, education and outreach about responsible pet ownership to the West Michgian community is a large factor to fulfilling the overall C-SNIP mission.
