Poet Dennis Hinrichsen, author of Skin Music, will lead extended poetry workshops at GLCL. The series is 4 sessions, each building on the last. They focus on free verse and revision strategies to sharpen the incandescence of poem drafts. Core ideas come from various sources: Robert Hass, Leonard Bernstein, Charles Wright, Stephen Dobyns, John Gardner, Shakespeare, and lyric writing. Do you have poems that need more work, but you can't figure out how to go about it? Bring those poems for revision. More details at our WEBSITE.
