We need your help in decorating bags for our ‘sack suppers’.  Kids’ Food Basket is a non-profit childhood hunger organization serving 2,450 evening meals each weekday to 24 Kent County elementary schools.  We are working to make sure lunch is not the last meal of the day for our kids.  One of the kids’ favorite things is when the bags have pictures, stickers or messages on them.  Purchase 8 Lb. paper sacks (or extra large) in either brown or white and decorate them with positive messages or a spring/summer theme.  Since these sacks are going to public schools, we ask that there be no religious messages on the sacks.  Each week we go through more than 12,000 bags so we can always use your help!  This is a great activity for families that can be done anywhere and at anytime.  It is fun and for a good cause!  Once you have the bags decorated give us a call to let us know when you can drop them off.

Kids' Food Basket is located at 1203 Butterworth SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.  Visit us online at www.kidsfoodbasket.org or call (616) 235-4KFB.
