Mission: Heartside Business District, near the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, is filled with the best of what a city has to offer for both residents and visitors alike! Heartside Business District, a thriving gateway into the city of Grand Rapids during the late 1800s furniture boom, is situated right off the main exit into downtown Grand Rapids from northbound US 131. Heartside Business District is home to the Van Andel Arena and the nightlife of the Ionia corridor; a wonderful historic district whose buildings are characteristic of early turn-of-the-century hotels and furniture warehouses; and many great shops, restaurants and entertainment destinations.
