We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. While at various ArtPrize venues throughout the event, The Rapidian's Story Matters project asked several local citizens to share their stories. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.
Samuel Miller remembers his first visits to Grand Rapids 10 years ago, and seeing "beautiful and dead" downtown. He always appreciated the wide variety of architecture he found in the city, but was sad to see the center city so under-utilized and under-appreciated. He's excited to see the center city grow and come alive.
