Story Matters: Raymond Schulte talks about how the Medical Mile saved his life

August 27, 2013 4:11 pm

At Ah Nab Awen Park this past Friday, Schulte shared his stories and what he appreciates about Grand Rapids, and talks about how he compares this place to the other city he's lived in- Detroit.

The Rapidian's Nonprofits section features stories written directly by local nonprofits about their work. These stories reflect their perspectives, not The Rapidian's editorial voice.

We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. While in Ah Nab Awen Park on Friday, August 23, The Rapidian's Story Matters project asked several local citizens to share their stories. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

Along with talking about how the Medical Mile saved his life, Raymond Schulte shares why Grand Rapids appealed to him, the growth he has seen since moving here, his fondest memory and describes Grand Rapids in three words.
