Story Matters: Arlene Schulte sees Grand Rapids as big city, small town

This dispatch was added by one of our Nonprofit Neighbors. It does not represent the editorial voice of The Rapidian or Community Media Center.

Arlene Schulte sat down with us to talk about what she likes about her city/town of Grand Rapids.
We build community when we share our stories - whether they be a memory, an experience or just simply telling what we think is great about this place. While in Ah Nab Awen Park on Friday, August 23, The Rapidian's Story Matters project asked several local citizens to share their stories. STORY MATTERS. is a story collecting project from The Rapidian and GRTV.

Arlene Schulte talks about her favorite parts of living in Grand Rapids and how she feels comfortable in her surroundings- and lists many options for how to attract friends who have never been here.

The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.

We need your help.
