This week signals the beginning of the GRAM/Ox-Bow Friday Lecture Series. Celebrating the shared centennials of these two great art organizations, this summer-long event will bring a distinguished lineup of speakers to the Art Museum. Learn about the evolution of art over the past one hundred years and experience how Ox-Bow artists envision its future.
Please join us for the Ox-Bow Artists Reception this Friday, July 9 at 5:00pm. Starting at 6:30 pm, the Executive Director of the Alliance of Artists Communities, Caitlin Strokosch, opens the series by presenting Ox-Bow and the Importance of Artists’ Communities. Lectures are held in GRAM’s Cook Auditorium and will continue every Friday through August 20. The full series schedule is available here.
Also, the Ox-Bow Centennial Exhibition is currently on view at GRAM, providing a look at historical and contemporary art movements through paintings, drawings, prints, glass, ceramics, metal sculpture, and book art.
