NPO Showcase highlights nonprofit and government organizations that improve the quality of life in our city and throughout our community. The program is a feature of GRTV and the Community Media Center, with producer and host Julie Way. You can catch it on GRTV on Saturdays at 8 AM and 6 PM and can view past episodes on the Grand Rapids Community Media Center website. If your nonprofit would like to be interviewed on NPO Showcase, please contact Julie Way.
INTERVIEW
The latest segment of NPO Showcase features the West Michigan Gay Men's Chorus, a nonprofit chorus organization composed of both gay and straight men and women that perform throughout West Michigan.
The West Michigan Gay Men's Chorus performs music as a way to share, enjoy, provoke and stimulate the audience while also working to build a positive relationship between the citizens of West Michigan and the gay cultural community. Gene Coburn, Artistic Director, and Michael Leugs, member of the Board of Directors, join us in studio to discuss the work of the West Michigan Gay Men's Chorus and their plans for the future.
