Have a musical interlude in the library! As you browse the collection, enjoy a performance by Tommy Schichtel. Heart and tone draw listeners into the world of guitarist Tommy Schichtel, who has embraced instrumental surf music and garage band/vocal pop with an infectious enthusiasm. His songs are covers of familiar rock standards and original creations. When he is not playing music with his bands The Concussions, The B-Sides, or FUZZRITES, Schichtel is sought after as a producer of regional musicians like Vox Vidorra, Beast in the Field, Black Monuments and Jimmie Stagger. He has worked with international musicians Eddie Angel (Los Straitjackets), Larry Taylor (Canned Heat and Tom Waits) and Tobin Sprout (Guided by Voices).
