In an effort to draw attention to Uptown, local restaurants have joined forces. In its inaugural year, Taste of Uptown consists of special dishes and drinks at each participating restaurant which people can taste for the next 10 days. An array of restaurants are participating, and guests can expect to find new beverages, entrees and desserts to try all over Uptown. The complete list of participating restaurants and menus can be found here.

Prices of special dishes and drinks range from $3-$20, based on restaurant and menu item.

The community in Uptown wants to showcase the food these restaurants create, but they also want to share the spotlight of ArtPrize. This multi-day event was purposefully collaborated around ArtPrize, in hopes that people would venture up town to find a quieter place to eat or sample a new beer.

The participating restaurants were all eager to be a part of the Taste of Uptown.

"We see the potential for community and want to be a part of it," shares Eric Karns. "If there is something I can be a part of in my community I want to be a part of it and support Uptown. No question."
