Our skin is where we most notice the signs of aging, and as we age, our skin care needs change. Learn what dermatologist Jack A. Dekkinga recommends for skin care for those over 50.  He'll be speaking at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes on August 18, beginning at 10 a.m. 

 

A board certified dermatologist and fellow in the American College of Mohs Microscopic Surgery, Dr. Dekkinga will talk about personal skin care through cleansing, moisturizing and protecting; the latest advances in detecting and treating skin cancer; and how to pass on a legacy of sun protection to your grandchildren.

 

A graduate of Calvin College and the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Dekkinga completed both a dermatology residency and fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit.

 

Covenant Village of the Great Lakes is located at 2510 Lake Michigan Dr. N.W., Grand Rapids.
