Día de Los Muertos: Celebrating life by remembering the past

Dia de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead) was celebrated on Sunday November 5 at the Grand Rapids Public Library main branch. Day of the Dead alters were on Ddsplay for families to view. The day included live music and bi-lingual story times. The library was full of people celebrating life by remembering and honoring those who have passed. Admission to the library was free for the event.  The event was from 1:00 – 4:30 pm. Learn more about upcoming events here.
