Vote for GRCMC by searching for "Grand Rapids Cable Access" on Chase Community Giving's Facebook page.
The Grand Rapids Community Media Center (CMC) is competing with hundreds of other charities and nonprofits nationwide in the Chase Community Giving competition which will share $5M in grants with the top 196 winning nonprofits, based on public vote. The more votes, the more money a nonprofit can receive: the top-voted nonprofit receiving $250,000, with all other grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. As a nominated nonprofit, the Community Media Center needs your help to get the vote out by September 19, the last day of voting.
You can help us win in two ways:
And after you vote...be sure to send the provided link to others. When someone uses the link they give you (after you vote), you get another vote!
A vote for CMC is a vote for the many services it provides for the community: WYCE (88.1) radio, cable access channel GRTV, Wealthy Theatre, and The Rapidian. The CMC provides multiple platforms for the many Grand Rapids community voices, and each works at “building community through media.” We need your help to continue to sustain these valuable platforms for our community.
As a multi-faceted nonprofit organization, GRCMC offers a wide variety of services, tools, and educational opportunities to area residents. With the continued growth and success of GRCMC’s work and mission, they are always seeking funding to help support their efforts. GRCMC also plays a major role in helping other area nonprofits in the area. Each department of the media center provides education and tools for Grand Rapids nonprofits.
So vote now; encourage others to vote; spread the word: with your help, we can keep doing our work quietly... because it's your voice that counts.
The Rapidian, a program of the 501(c)3 nonprofit Community Media Center, relies on the community’s support to help cover the cost of training reporters and publishing content.
We need your help.
If each of our readers and content creators who values this community platform help support its creation and maintenance, The Rapidian can continue to educate and facilitate a conversation around issues for years to come.
Please support The Rapidian and make a contribution today.
