Okay, so I'm a Rapidian reporter, but I was hoping for a li'l help getting the word out about a DIY arts parade. The more folks involved, the better. Coverage of the actual event would also be awesome.

 

We're Proud of You! Parade

What: A community-based processional that celebrates Grand Rapids and the creativity of its people. Artists of all ages are invited to make a costume, orchestrate a performance, or showcase their art in this processional downtown. The We're Proud of You! parade is a community celebration by the people, for the people. Make it, and make it grand!

 

When: September 24th, 1pm *Participants should arrive at 12:30

 

Where: Downtown, Grand Rapids

  • Meet and start at corner of Ottawa and Monroe Ctr (behind art museum)
  • SW on Ottawa, NW on Louis, NE on Rosa Parks Cr., N on Monroe, S on Market, NE on Rosa Parks, SW on Monroe Ctr.
