This is a great opportunity to add your own personal voice to the conversation and share ideas and values that are important to you.

This year’s day-long TEDxGrandRapids event on May 9, 2013, at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, will bring together leading thinkers and doers for a combination of TEDTalks video and live speakers.

Everyone is invited to apply to speak, whether you have attended before or not. There is no age limit—young or old, there is always room for innovative ideas! The TEDxGR team is simply looking for applicants with diverse experiences and backgrounds to create new community connections and more Ideas Worth Spreading. Because there are only a limited number of registration slots available, the day’s attendees are selected through an application process.

About TEDxGR

The unique roster of speakers originally focused their thought-provoking presentations on Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED). Now topics have expanded to include science, art, philanthropy, business and personal experiences and they’re quick—all delivered in 18 minutes or less.

Videos of previous TEDxGrandRapids speakers can be found at at TEDxGrandRapids.org and on TEDxGR's Youtube channel.
